Explore on foot, mountain bike, snowshoes or xcountry skis some of America’s most remote and un-crowded wilderness. On some days you may not see anyone else but your group while exploring the home of native deer, elk, antelope, wildflowers, grasses & trees. You may be among our elders – 3,000 to 4,000+ year old bristlecone pines. The Park was chosen to represent the Great Basin as it presents most of the geology, plant, and animal life of the entire Basin. The land is shared with cattle ranches and farms. Our good neighbor, the Baker Ranch, is a short way from the Inn. Occasionally, you’ll see a cowboy working the ranches.
